WBMS Scholar bowl team took 3rd place this weekend! Way to go! 💙🤍

I can't believe it has been 2 weeks since the Apex team arrived. Tomorrow is the event! With the potential of wet grass from tonight's storms, please have your children wear old shoes if possible! We had over 65 students get a donation of $10 or more last night, so they all got to spin the wheel at lunch and got 2 raffle tickets for the grand prize! They were also entered in the wheel of names and one got a large pizza of their choice to share with friends at lunch! We can't wait for the event tomorrow!

You are all amazing!!! We are so close to our goal! We are only $1,600 away! Hopefully tonight's challenge gets us there (see the picture for details). Today we handed out some of the earned prizes so the students won't have as much to carry home on Friday. Congratulations to all of the winners (some missed the photo but this is most of them). They will get their shirts, raffle tickets, color packets, and any remaining prizes on Friday.

Due to the elearning day, Tuesday's track tryout will be moved to Thursday. Wednesday 3:45-5:15pm Thursday 3:15-4:45pm

Middle school...don't forget to wear blue and orange tomorrow! 💙🧡 The basketball challenge was such a hit last week that the Apex team brought it back today. Tonya and Evan both joined some PE classes as well! Tonight's challenge has 3 different ways to win!

We had a busy day today with the Apex team! First, we played trivia over lunch and then Ms. Polacek's class duct taped Evan to the basketball post (check out the live that was posted earlier today). Tonight's challenge is a classroom challenge! So far most of the kids want donuts instead of bagels, but we will see what the winning class chooses!

We had another fun day with the Apex team. We had a basketball challenge at lunch and Evan made a shot from over half court so all of the 8th grade class got an extra raffle ticket! Tonight's challenge is another classroom challenge!

2024 JAMES B. SMITH SCHOLARSHIP In honor of Dr. James B. Smith's 32 years of dedicated service to Wolf Branch students and community, the W.B.A.T., Local 6117, established the Dr. James B. We had a great group of young performers today, the Mashariki dancers from Belleville East! Thank you Mr. Ford and the 19 young men and women that shared their talent with our elementary students!
