Thanks to all the students who submitted designs for the spiritwear store. We took a few of the designs and combined some of the elements to come up with two designs for the store. We have also added softer, triblend shirts to the store! I hope you like them! Store is now open through the 22nd!

Athletic Update:
Our region has moved to Phase 4 which means all volleyball games can be played. Tryouts have concluded and we will begin playing games next week. The short season will be played through Feb 25th.

As usual, all student athletes need a current physical and concussion form on file with the school nurse. A covid waiver form must be brought to the first day of tryouts.

Sports Update 1/27/2021
The IDPH and Governor moved our region into Tier 2 mitigations in the last couple days. This means we will begin Volleyball Tryouts on Monday Feb 1st. While we are in Tier 2, we are only allowed to have practices. We are hopeful that in the next week we will be brought down to Tier 1 which means we will be allowed to play volleyball games.
We also have tentatively scheduled basketball season to begin March 1st if all goes well.
Bowling is still TBD. We are hopeful to begin this March as well.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fGld0z5L49Sng41jnxi0qL9fV6QqjB7IROcufOjOSPI/edit?usp=sharing

We just received word from AT&T that we are back up and running! Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are experiencing an internet outage at the moment. It is currently being worked on. Those that are remote should continue to work on assignments they can until we are back up and running. We will notify once things are running again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Athletic Update:
Volleyball tryouts will be postponed. The starting date will be TBD until mitigations from the IDPH and Governor's office are lifted to allow indoor practices. Currently Volleyball is classified as a medium risk sport.
Bowling is still undetermined on the starting date as bowling alleys are still shut down. When they open, they will fill with high school teams before allowing Jr. High teams to play.
Basketball is estimated to start at the end of February pending approval from the IDPH and Governor's office. Basketball is currently listed as a high risk sport.
More information will be communicated as it becomes available.

Athletic Update:
Sign Ups for both Chess and Volleyball are going out to student's emails today. If they are interested in either of these please have them use the form in their emails to sign up.
Volleyball is scheduled to start in January, only if the state gives the green light to hold indoor sport practices. Also for games to be played the state has to approve volleyball. We are asking for sign ups only to make sure physicals and concussions are completed and that all paperwork is turned in if/when volleyball is approved. The rough draft season looks to be in January and February. More info will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
Chess will start but will be in an online format only. More information will be provided after sign ups are completed. If you have any question please contact Alex Seel (aseel@wbsd113.org)
